He seemed pretty convinced that it was more of an issue with the plugins rather than Wavelab, even though things were OK as far as this goes in earlier versions.

I've been chatting a bit with PG (the software writer) on the Wavelab forum but it seems like it's only happening to a few users so I'm not very confident that a fix will happen anytime soon. Unbelievable.I have the same issue, only it's made worse by the fact that most of my 3rd party plugins turn white either at the top where the window close option is, or they turn entirely white.either way, the only way to close them is to use the option in the master section.very time consuming. It is annoying, wastes a significant amount of time and indicates that the company spends an insufficient amount of time testing before releasing updates. In a leap of faith I installed 7.2, only to find now that all the loaded plug ins in the master section open up by themselves whenever I switch between Audio File and the Audio Montage screens. 7.11 didn't work the way it should, gave audio glitches and things like that, 7.10 did work ok and now 7.2 does too. Yesterday i have been working with 7.2 and overall it feels more stable now, i have to admit that. I think we all don't need an extra tool to upload to soundcloud.
I also added wavelab itself, just to make sure. Then click add and search for the elincer control center. (google for dcom and cubase /wavelab)įor those having the dcom problem, this is the solution that i posted:Ĭlick system properties > advanced > performance then settings > data execution prevention. I found the solution, posted it, but no response. This has something to do with the e-licenser and d-com settings which is also brought up quite a lot of times on the forum (cubase and wl).

Not saving settings and re-opening default settings in the montage, also the mastersection doesn't save to the right size and is now even wider then it was while people complained that it was to wide already.Īlso the install came up with a problem with dcom / Synsopos.exe connections after update and so wavelab didn't work at all. Too bad they didn't fix at least 2 quite annoying display problems which a lot of complained about.
